I have a UTI and I got my Period the other day?

It felt like i was starting my period so to be catious i tried to put in a tampon and it felt as though something was blocking it going in. when it did go it it felt like something had poped and blood went everywhere. then next day i felt normal and all went well then the following day it started acting up again.
